Join us in extending a warm welcome to Yale University Police Department's three new Probationary Officers. 

Michael D. D'Urso 

Mr. D'Urso graduated from North Branford High School and is currently finishing up his Bachelor's Degree at the University of New Haven.  In the past, he has worked as an automobile technician and in his family's home heating oil business. Michael is married and has 3 children.
William J. Hurley, Jr.

Mr. Hurley graduated from Notre Dame High School. He attended Southern Connecticut State University and is a trained paramedic. He worked for the American Medical Response as an EMT and as a Volunteer Firefighter with the East Haven Fire Department.  
Zachery R. Masotta 
 
Mr. Masotta graduated from Hamden High School and also from the New Britain EMS Academy.  After graduation, he played hockey for one year with the Junior Boston Bruins. He is a licensed EMT. For the past several years, he worked as a foreman at Craftsmen General Contractors, a family owned business.
