A new Generation

Yad b'Yad has now lead hundreds of German and Jewish through our mutually painful history bringing new hope and healing for a new generation. Over the past 9 years we have seen the marvelous transformation of our young peoples lives as they learn and experience the power true reconciliation in our Messiah.

It was so encouraging to see that there are already three generations of Israeli youth going on these historical journeys. An older brother or sister went first, then their younger sibling and now the "baby" sister and brother are following in their footsteps.

This has always been our vision. To bring an entire generation and families through a process of healing and restoration from our most painful memories.

It was especially joyful for me to meet the young daughters and sons of many of my good friends from around the country. I am honored that these godly families would entrust their young ones to the Yad b'Yad on such a meaningful trip.

I also want to highly commend the Israeli team of leaders who have taken over the leadership of Yad b'Yad now that Karen has moved into other ministry adventures. Eliel and Lydia from the Carmel Assembly are simply precious jewels and give of themselves totally to walk with these young believers. God bless them as they travel with their two adorable toddlers!

Dima and Sarah our own Beit Immanuel Youth leaders are a devoted and gifted couple perfected matched for this challenging assignment. This will be the 9th trip for Dima and he now carries a mantle of leadership in the whole area of reconciliation. Diam has also been busy this year working with Holocaust Survivors here in Israel and teaching our young people to care for these elderly folks.
