This month's Roundtable for both Cub & Boy Scouts Leaders will focus on Autism Awareness in Scouting. Come and learn about how you can include Scouts with disabilities in all aspects of Scouting.

Yahara Rock River
Rock River Regatta - June 2nd!
Attention all Boy Scouts & Venturers! Join us for an amazing 8 mile Canoe and Kayak race through Fort Atkinson down the Scenic Rock River! Kick off the summer with a splash! $12 per racer unit May 26th.

Program Planning
May Program Planning
Strong Scouting units have a great annual program that is planned a year in advance and is shared with their families in the form of a calendar. This includes a funding plan with activities and events. By doing this your unit will attract more families and Scouts will stay involved longer.

Committee Chair's, please plan on attending the May Program Planning Kick-off and it is recommended that you bring your committee with you.

Baraboo
Baraboo Circus Heritage - May 18
Baraboo Circus Heritage is our annual spring festival event that is open to ALL Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturer's, other youth groups, and their families. It is an action packed weekend of fun and camping at the Sauk County Fairgrounds! 
Activities include: Bb Guns, Archery, midway games, bounce houses, lumberjack displays, STEM activities. 

We also have a unique relationship with Circus World Musuem in Baraboo. Those who opt in will receive a ticket to attend a circus show at Circus World either Saturday or Sunday that weekend.

You are Cordially Invited to the Dedication of Glass Pond

June 19th, 2018 at Camp Indian Trails (5801 N River Rd. Janesville, WI 53545)

This is a free event for all families and community members to dedicate the new Glass Pond at Camp Indian Trails. The pond is named in honor of John Glass, former Scout Executive of the Sinnissippi Council in Janesville WI. 

Camp will open at 4:30pm, with a short program at 6pm on the shores of Glass Pond. A cookout dinner and camp tour will be provided for all who attend.

Day Camp
Day Camp is Here!
Attention all Cub Scout aged boys and girls! Sign up today for Day Camp! Come and enjoy age appropriate, theme-based outdoor activities, from sports and games to archery and BB guns. All this while making new friends and learning new skills in a safe environment. It’s always a BLAST! Day Camp is the highlight of the year for a Cub Scout. ALL SCOUTS SHOULD ATTEND DAY CAMP.

Monona Parade
Monona Memorial Day Parade
Monona’s Memorial Day Parade is one of the largest parades in Dane County. Participation is free to Scouting units. Those units that want to march in the annual parade must preregister by May 5th.

Sleepover Camp!
Sleepover Camp at Camp Indian Trails is nonstop fun! This 4 day, 3 night camping experience lets Cub Scouts enjoy the great outdoors doing all kinds of fun activities including marksmanship at the BB and Archery Ranges, Aquatics, Boating, Fishing, Belt loops, campfire programs and sports!

During your free time you may hike around camp and explore! The camp program is built around fun, age-appropriate activities that will satisfy various advancement requirements.
