Auction and Fundraiser for the Mission And Ministries of St Francis - Friday, February 2, 6:30 to 8:30pm
Celebrate the year of the Dog with wine, food and fun. White Elephant Auction and surprise raffle! Also an adult dance troupe performing Chinese classical dance, and young dancers that will perform a Kung Fu Fan Dance. $10.00 for advance admission, $15.00 at the door. Kids under 4 are free! Sponsored by St Teresa’s Guild.
Annual Meeting - Meet Our New Vestry!
Thank you to all who attended, brought items for the potluck, and to Sue and Jack Ferme and all who helped with set-up and clean-up.
It was a very positive meeting, at which we elected four new Vestry members, to serve through 2020. New Senior and Junior Wardens were appointed - Tim Coleman and John Henebry. Congratulations and thank you!

Food & Friends Groups
It's not too late to sign up!
Whether you are new to St. Francis or have been a long-time member, if you are interested in getting to know others in our faith community over sharing meals together, please consider joining a "Food & Friends" group. We will organize groups of 6-10 for various life stages and schedule availability. Groups will meet once a month in people's homes or at St. Francis (potlucks), or restaurants. Please contact Rev. Peter if you are interested.

Where: St.Lawrence Martyr Parish Hall, upstairs in the St. Francis Room.
Bring: yourselves, friends, and your children. It is truly a family affair!
We will be sending Girl Scout cookies, as well as the usual morale boosters.

The use of the Labyrinth for spiritual purposes, dates back 4000 years! Come spend a quiet morning learning about labyrinths world-wide, and then enjoy the silence of walking or drawing or writing or meditating in preparation for the Ash Wednesday Eucharist to follow. The quiet day will conclude in the chapel, in time for the 12:10 service.

You may or may not know that there are many well- known writers in history who were devoted Anglicans and Episcopalians. Come and out more about their lives, their writings, and their faith journeys. We hope you will be inspired by their lives and inspired to read their works. Each week's class will be presented by a different leader and will feature a different writer.

Calling all SAGES of many ages! We are going on a “Just For The Fun Of It” outing!!!
On Thursday, February 8th, we are hitting the trifecta in Rolling Hills Plaza...Shop for your winter birds and learn more about our beautiful hummingbirds at Wild Birds Unlimited ( 25416 Crenshaw Blvd, Torrance, just north of PCH ). Then we will head next door to experience the Ultimate in olive oil tastings from around the world at the Bluff Cove Olive Oil Company ; Finally, we will enjoy a casual lunch (on your own $) at the brand new Stonefire Grill just a short walk away! We even have a SAGES door prize for this fun kickoff for 2018!!
