Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland

Yoga Reaches Out is dedicated to raising funds for Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland becuase of the amazing work they do in our community. The Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland is 100% focused on kids. That's what makes it so different from most other hospitals. Contrary to common belief, kids are not just "little adults" - instead, their developing bodies and minds need highly specialized care. As the "safety net hospital" for thousands of children throughout the bay area, Children's Hospital Oakland has always been committed to providing the highest quality care to all kids, regardless of ability to pay. Treatment is but one part of the medical picture. The internationally-renowned Research Institute investigates root causes of disease, pioneering new treatments and cures. At Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland, it's all about the kids. Your donation will help support many of the programs at the hospital, including the Healthy Hearts program which is designed to prevent and treat childhood obesity and related illnesses, such as diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure.
