Laughter is the Best Medicine for CHOC Kids
| The Littlest Angel Guild/CHOC have joined forces with community partner, Java Joe's, and the comedy group - The Funniest Housewives of Orange County for its Second Annual Comedy Night to raise awareness and monetary support for CHOC Children's. By participating in this event, you are supporting a special place for children in Orange County to receive medical care regardless of their family's ability to pay. CHOC Children's Hospital is one of only 44 free-standing children's hospitals in the United States. It may be one of the youngest free-standing children's hospitals in the nation, but CHOC performs on par with children's hospitals that have been around for a century, and in the last decade, has become the fastest growing children's hospitals in California. U.S. News recently ranked CHOC Children's as No. 28 in Pediatric Cancer Care. Warehouse for War Heroes
| With the assistance of Lois Chisholm, and the generosity of her employer, Mr. Bill Burke of the Burke Real Estate Group, we now have 1,425 square feet of warehouse and office space! We also wish to thank Roberto Marquez of Insurance Partners, Inc, for his hard work and for the expeditious manner in which he obtained the insurance for the building. Being mindful of the respect we want to show our military men and women and their families, we will now begin the process of collecting gently used household items, such as dining sets, end tables, lamps, strollers, dishes, etc. We want to reiterate, we don't have the pleasure of a maintenance staff, so we will not accept items that need to be refurbished or are broken. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give our active Military families. To donate or offer your assistance, please contact Bridget and Eddie Blehm at FFAMSoCal@aol.com or visit their website at: www.FFAMSoCal.org |

Lifehouse Ministry
| LifeHouse is a 501(c)3 nonprofit created to feed the homeless and help the needy of Orange County. We feed a wholesome, hot meal every Sunday afternoon at the riverbed in Orange County. Last year alone, we served over 5,000 meals to men and women. We also hand out a bag full of snacks, socks, and toilet- ries to each person that they can use for later.
In addition, we are a resource for those who need help getting off the streets. We recently furnished an apartment for one couple who had been homeless for 5 years. We gave away approximately 4,000 bags of groceries last year to families in need. We assist families with available food, supplies, and sometimes even furniture. LifeHouse is sustained by the generosity of friends like you who want to help alleviate hunger and help provide for the needs of others. There are many ways in which you can help. The biggest need is financial support. To date, 95% of donations received has gone directly to help the poor. You can also cook and/ or serve a meal with us at the riverbed on Sundays; you can do a sock drive or a food drive; or gather clothes, hygiene supplies, books, & more within your own community. Just ask & we can help you find your place! This ultra-modern 19,500 square foot home built at the highest point in Yorba Linda was believed to have been built for Arnold Schwarzenegger. This rumor is false, but the view from this stunning home is spectacular. This year's Gift Faire at the Yorba Linda Community Center, (4501 Casa Loma, Yorba Linda, CA) promises to entice our guests with unique and creative gift items.
