Proposals for Title Certification Services & Professional Real Estate Appraisal Services
Proposals for Title Certification Services
 
The County of York is seeking proposals for title certification services in conjunction with the County's Housing Programs. The contract will run for a period of one year starting October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018, with a renewable second and third year term.

A description of the scope of services and criteria for selection is available at the York County Planning Commission offices, by phone at (717) 771-9870 or email dbrannon@ycpc.org.

Proposals should be submitted to Dory Brannon, Chief of Housing, York County Planning Commission, 28 East Market Street, York, PA 17401.

Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 pm on September 8, 2017. Faxed proposals will not be accepted.

2017 Pipeline Awareness & Emergency Response
 
Sunoco Pipeline L.P. and other pipeline operators in Pennsylvania are sponsoring free pipeline awareness and emergency response sessions for all emergency responders, excavators & public officials. Emergency responders and excavators are encouraged to attend each session which includes a free dinner and reviews One Call, safe digging procedures around pipelines and safe response procedures for pipeline incidents.  The sessions start at 5:30 P.M. and conclude by 8:00 P.M.

Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania Safety Program
Columbia Gas is offering a pipeline safety program for contractors, excavators, first responders and public officials.  The program is scheduled for September 18th, 2017, beginning at 5:30 pm at 1600 Colony Road, York, PA 17408.  For more information go to http://pa.pipeline-awareness.com/home/
 
 
FEMA Region III Mitigation Coffee Breaks
 
FEMA Region III is hosting a series of webinars for hazard mitigation planners and other partners interested in reducing risk in their communities. These "Coffee Breaks" are hour-long sessions hosted every other month to provide mitigation best practices and highlight the work happening at federal, regional, state, and community levels to reduce risk across the region.
 
The Coffee Breaks are open to everyone involved in hazard mitigation, resiliency, or risk reduction planning in the public and private sector. This includes community planners, emergency managers, floodplain managers, GIS technicians, government officials, contractors, and anyone involved in the development and implementation of hazard mitigation and risk reduction strategies.
