Intersect Community Workshop:
Universal Access in the Information Age
2:00-3:00pm

Is social media a key part of your business communication strategy?  Do you use multiple platforms  to promote your non-profit or to get the word out on your latest product?  What is said via Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube matters. Equally important, the manner in which the message is conveyed through social media will ensure your business reaches the broadest possible audience. Including accessibility practices in your social media initiatives is a solid practice to ensure your message and content are broadcast across all platforms and to the greatest number of users.  This FREE community workshop is perfect for service providers, small business owners, or anyone who utilizes the power of social media to communicate with mass audiences.  Lori Markland, the Director of Communications at the Maryland Technology Assistance Program, is a topic expert and the featured speaker for this free community educational opportunity.
