Prior to my becoming President of the International Council of Reflexologists, ICR Members had responded to a survey, indicating their top priority for ICR was to Increase Public Awareness of Reflexology.  To this end, while President during the 2002 ICR Conference in London, England, the ICR Board of Directors unanimously embraced my suggestion of World Reflexology Week (WRW) to be celebrated internationally, each year.
     Shortly thereafter, Christine Issel, Laura Lee Ostrowski and I met several times to develop a wide range of support and promotional materials to help individuals and groups of Reflexologists world wide, to be able to conduct WRW activities in their home towns, cities, states/provinces, countries.    
     World Reflexology Week is celebrated the last full week of September each year. So, you still have plenty of time to do something either by yourself, with a group of other Reflexologists, or through your state/provincial, regional or national Reflexology Associations, to Increase Public Awareness of the Wonderful Field of Reflexology.
