Are we finished or just getting started?
Congratulations! We've broken the record, done what we set out to do.
In 2012, more women have filed to run for Congress than ever before.
291...and 7 more are expected to file -- a big step up from the previous high of 262.
Nice work, everybody!
We can call it a day, or we can do everything in our power to let voters know why we need more women in Congress:
Because of their effectiveness, openness and advocacy for issues that only they will put on the agenda;
Because they introduce more bills, build broader coalitions and bring more resources to their districts.
Is it worth $25 bucks to spread that word?
You know it is.
We need to raise $8,500 from on-line supporters to meet our June 30th goal of $35,000.
We've got 12 days.
Imagine how you'll feel when voters nominate -- and elect -- a record number of women to Congress this year.
