The title of today's message was spoken by a former President and caused much angst among many people-
People offended because they felt like their hard work and noble intentions were being slighted.
But the Apostle Paul understood it:
1 Corinthians 3:5 (KJV)
5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
WE, as Christians, are simply called to be "ministers."

Ministers are SIMPLY called "to run on errands, an attendant, a waiter (at a table or in other MENIAL duties);
SPECIALLY a Christian teacher or PASTOR (note my special capitalization of PASTOR)!!!!"
Think about it for a second-do we thank a hammer or a shovel for all their hard work and noble intentions?
No, because they are merely TOOLS used by the Master!
Paul further explained:

6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
