Meet Two of our New Members!
Nolan and Dawn Montgomery have two wonderful children- Jadelyn and Brock. Nolan loves working with youth and is going to school to become a teacher. He enjoys reading, playing the guitar, riding his motorcycle, and playing video games. Dawn works at the AEP power plant in Rockport. She stays busy leading a daisy troop. She likes to do all kinds of craft projects- painting, refurbishing furniture, and making shirts with her cricut.
Will you go on the next Kenya Mission Trip?!
The dates for Aldersgate's next Kenya Mission Trip are Feb. 9-24, 2018. Let Rev. Lynn know if you're interested! The trip is limited to 8 people. In the meantime, you can help us by collecting:
  • Reading and Prescription glasses
  • Ziploc snack bags with the Ziploc on short edge (to put glasses in)
  • Lens cleaning cloths

Collection baskets are by the giraffe down the hall from the office!

Will you provide snacks for the coffee bar?
Your help is needed! Each Sunday, someone from Aldersgate volunteers to provide snacks for the coffee bar. You don't have to be the next top chef; store bought goodies will also do in addition to homemade baked goods! See Annie at the coffee bar on Sundays or email her at annieroberts12@gmail.com to sign up!

Words of Thanks

Hi Mitch, Thank you very much for allowing Honor Flight of Southern Indiana to use Aldersgate for our Honor Flight 6 Interview Day for our veterans and their guardians. Everything Aldersgate and you do for Honor Flight is greatly appreciated. Joe Miller

Prayer Shawl Group, Your thoughtfulness will not be forgotten. Bill Clippinger
Dear Rev. Mitch and Diane, We wanted to thank you and Aldersgate again for being such gracious hosts this past weekend. It was a good morning and we accomplished well what we wet out to do. What contributed so much to the event was the great facilities and Rev. Gieselman's smooth MC style. Thank you for your help in making a good event for all. Tri-State Creation Team, Tom Bogenschutz
Prayer Shawl Group, Thank you for the beautiful prayer shawl. I will use it often and will be thinking of your special group and my mother. I can't tell you enough how touched I am and appreciative. I hope you know how special your group is.
With loving thanks, Cindi Beeler

We would like to say a BIG “Thank You”.  Alan and I appreciate your prayers and want you to know how much we treasure every card, email, phone call, text message and food.  Your kind thoughts and prayers have given me a peace like no other.  Alan especially appreciate the break.  Thanks you for being the loving, compassionate and caring congregation you are.  Darlene and Alan Stahl
Dear Aldersgate Missions: Thank you for your donation of $800 to Gilda's Club Evansville for Ann's Kitchen! We appreciate your support and all you do to help ensure that no one in our community has to face cancer alone. We so appreciate you being a part of our ever-expanding circle of friends who know that social and emotional support is just as important as medical care when cancer is in the family. On behalf of those you are impacting, Thank you! You are making a difference... remember that!
Best Regards, Melanie Atwood
