Early Development Camp
Early Development Training Center Camps are new programs established by the USTA Player Development to enable USTA to recruit and retain our most precious resource: young athletes, ages 6 to 10. Having numerous successful EDC's around the country will help the USTA grow the talent pool of junior players and create a new wave of world-class tennis professionals in the years to come.
Players must be able to rally and be playing Orange Ball tennis on 60' Courts.
The first in a series- is May 9th
Player Objectives of Each Camp (the "Series") will be:
Camp 1: The Expert Rallyer (Groundstrokes)- May 9 12-4:30pm
Camp 2: The Solid Server & Ridiculous Returner (Serve & return) July 12 12- 4:30pm
Camp 3: The Net Dominator (Transition Game) - (Fall 2015) Aug 9 12-4:30 pm
Camp 4: The All Court Player (All Court Game) - (Fall 2015) Oct 3 12-4:30pm
May 9 12:00-4:30pm
Cost is $55 for each one
or $200 for all 4! (Call Plex office for discount 240-477-4430)
We will accept applicants on a first come first serve basis so do not delay.
Application/Release attached must be brought to the TennisPlex filled out.
