Please join us...  for a virtual Kitten Shower!
Meet Duffy, our first  bottle baby kitten of the year. This tiny tabby was so itty bitty when he arrived at Sonoma Humane Society that he still had his umbilical cord attached.

Kittens who get separa ted from their mamas have a harder time than those who stay with their mamas , but Duffy is getting love and nurturing from the next best thing - one of our skilled and compassionate foster pare nts!

Every year, SHS takes in hundreds of kittens and places them in foster homes until they're healthy and old enough to find their forever families. This requires lots of kitten supplies!

How else can you make a difference for Duffy and the itty bitty kittys who are arriving at our shelter t his season in need of protection, nourishment and the hope of a bright future?

Thank you for helping us give these kittens a strong start in life!
Ebony: Home is where the heart is!
Thank you to everyone who helped get Ebony where she is today - HOME!!!
After recovering from a specialized surgery to repair her heart condition, a wonderful couple who had donated to her medical care wanted to come in to meet her and say hello. They loved her sweet, soft presence and formed an immediate bond. She reminded them of their dog Nera, who looks quite a bit like Ebony. Unable to resist the way she tugged at their hearts, they opted to adopt!

Kona, healthy and homeward bound!
You may remember Kona from last month's eAnimail - the little kitten who survived injuries to her jaw and front leg? Thanks to our rock star veterinary team, fosters and donors, this sweet feline made an amazing recovery just in time for her future papa's birthday! This cool dude wanted to adopt a kitten as a b-day gift to himself. He and his girlfriend met Kona and decided she was the perfect reason to celebrate!

Hoppy Trails, Abigail!
Just shy of her one year anniversary of arriving at our shelter, Abigail has found her home! A lovely family had been thinking of adopting a rabbit for some time and fell in love with Abigail's description on our website. They came in to meet her and get the scoop on bunny care and decided to make the leap. Abigail will be spoiled as the only pet in the home. Hoppy trails, Abigail!

♥Who else wants to go home? Meet all of our adoptables here!

Your support of our programs makes all the difference to animals
on their journey to finding love and forever homes.
Thank You GHD!
Who gave up a sunny Saturday last month to pull weeds at the Healdsburg Center? The local volunteer group from GHD, that's who! Thank you to this wonderful group for helping us beautify the Center with your hard work and smiles!
Choco to go!
Cutie pie Choco managed to melt each of our hearts while he was at the Healdsburg Center for Animals. We couldn't wait for him to find a family worthy of his mellow snuggles and dignified manner. When this loving bunch showed up, Choco worked a little heart-melting magic on them too. Could they be any sweeter together?
