W2O Speaks for Our Ocean

Dozens of W2O members voiced their opposition to proposed oil and gas drilling in New England's ocean at a public hearing in Boston this week.

It's not too late! If you missed Tuesday's hearing, you can submit comments online until March 9th. Seismic blasting can hurt marine mammals like the endangered North Atlantic right whale. Oil spills can permanently devastate marine ecosystems and the coastal economies that depend upon a healthy ocean. Let Federal officials know oil and gas drilling is a destructive business that threatens our ocean wildlife and coastal economy.
