The Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite you to the 2012 Annual Meeting, taking place  Monday, November 19 at the Rhode Island Convention Center beginning with a reception at 5:00 p.m.; dinner and program at 6:00 p.m.   

Hear Boston Scientific President Michael Mahoney talk about how his institution has successfully turned ideas being germinated within local institutions and laboratories into economically viable entities that create jobs.  

Following Mahoney's presentation, three of the state's newest health science industry leaders will talk about the role their individual institutions can play in growing Rhode Island's Knowledge Economy; the importance of alignment between universities, hospitals, and businesses for sustained economic development; and the critical need to leverage institutional assets to create jobs and business.
