Please join the Buffett Early Childhood Institute at the University of Nebraska for a casual networking event focused on the value of transdisciplinary approaches to research. Opening remarks will be given by Buffett Institute Founding Executive Director Samuel J. Meisels. Following Dr. Meisels' remarks, Jennie Cole-Mossman will discuss the ways in which the Nebraska Resource Project for Vulnerable Young Children at UNL's Center on Children, Families and the Law infuses early childhood research and best practices into systems working with young children who have been maltreated.

CONNECT. COLLABORATE. INNOVATE.
Transdisciplinary Conversations
These transdisciplinary discussions bring together scientists, students, extension educators, business leaders, policymakers, farmers and others, allowing them to gather informally and make cross-disciplinary connections they might not otherwise make.
The Institutes
The University of Nebraska has invested in four interdisciplinary, University-wide institutes—including the Rural Futures Institute, the Buffett Early Childhood Institute, the National Strategic Research Institute, and the Robert B. Daugherty Water for Food Institute—that leverage talent and research-based expertise from across the University of Nebraska system to focus on complex state, national, and global challenges.
