Run for Knowledge

8:30 AM  @ Nash Community College

J oin runners, joggers and walkers at the 3rd Annual Run for Knowledge  Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Nash Community College .  The race begins at  8:30 AM  at the NCC Continuing Education and Public Services Building. 

The 5K is part trail (approximately 1.25 miles) and part paved roads (approximately 1.85 miles).  Registration includes breakfast, lunch, a 50th Anniversary commemorative bag filled with local goodies, race bib, t-shirt and NCC socks.

Disc Golf Scholarship Tournament

10:00 AM  @ Nash Community College

Disc golfers of all levels are invited to participate in the inaugural 18-hole Disc Golf Scholarship Tournament. Divisions: novice, amateur, pro: $20, lunch and bag included.

Blue Fest

All Day  @ Nash Community College

The community is invited to attend the Second Annual Blue Fest at Nash Community College. The campus festival features tours, demonstrations and activities tied to college programs. A Student Expo will be held to exhibit academic work well done. Blue Fest is for the entire family and there will be activities of interest for everyone. This is a pet-friendly event.

360° Brewer Classroom Grand Opening 

5:00-9:00 PM @ Rocky Mount Mills

Following Blue Fest, NCC will host a grand opening of its brewing classroom at Rocky Mount Mills. We hope to see you!

NCC Brewing, Distillation and Fermentation students will share their best craft brews as the community celebrates the opening of the classroom.
