AFWA Silicon Valley will be collecting non-perishable food items at our annual
holidayparty to donate to the Second Harvest Food Bank.
Here is some info if you would like to donate:
Most-Needed Foods
The Food Bank accepts all non-perishable food donations, but especially needs these nutritious items:
Meals in a can (stew, chili, soup)
Tuna and canned meat
Peanut butter
Canned foods with pop-top lids
Low-sugar cereals
100% fruit juices in single serving boxes
Canned fruit packed in juice
Canned vegetables (low salt)
Please avoid donating items packaged in glass.
*Catered dinner from Marie Callender's; Funds in excess of dinner fees, taxes and gratuity will be donated to the AFWA Silicon Valley Scholarship fund.
