Matt & Jeff Entertaining the Crowd - 2010 M.Q. Retreat
Aside from the wonderful company and delectable food, the highlight of the 2010 Retreat Celebration Dinner was most certainly the amazing music played by Jeff Wheeler and Matt Sivertsen. We are extremely excited to announce that Jeff and Matt will be back for an encore performance this year!
Jeff has been playing guitar since 1963. Each year he plays lead guitar and sings in a large, ensemble band featuring Phil Collins' horn section, members of Carlos Santana's band and Toto, as well as other prominent musicians. Most of the time he can be seen in local Los Angeles clubs playing in his classic rock and blues bands.
Matt has been playing saxophone for 20 years. He helped form an original pop/rock band called Minus Six that has played from 2003 to present. They have recorded three CDs of original music and toured regionally. Matt plays in several other bands and combos throughout the year. A note worthy highlight was playing in the horn section for The Temptations when they came into town.
Jeff and Matt work hard to put together a special set that showcases their unique musical talents and puts us all in a celebratory mood!
