Greetings!

Yesterday, you and thousands of New Yorkers distributed supplies, cleared debris, and served food to victims of Hurricane Sandy. But there's still a lot more to be done. Sign up now to help the recovery effort tomorrow.

Join the more than 5,000 volunteers who have already pitched in. Sign up now. Your help is greatly appreciated.

The hurricane has made our every day programming more important than ever. Our adult education, children's recreation, and environmental programs will go a long way in helping our city rebuild in the long term. If you haven't already, sign up to attend an orientation. Once you're oriented, you can search and sign up for any of our projects.

Thank you,
New York Cares

P.S. Can't volunteer tomorrow? Then donate a winter coat. In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, the need for warm coats is more urgent than ever this winter and New York Cares' Annual Coat Drive is in full swing. You can also donate items besides coats to any organization listed here.
