CRI
We invite you to join us!

Do you want to be a citizen who simply identifies problems or do you want to be someone who helps to solve them? If we want to turn our state around, we must take action!

Edmund Burke once said, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." This is what has happened in California. Many have been sitting on the sidelines hoping things will get better. Sitting and hoping is not enough. Knowing what is right is not enough. We must take action.

Please join us for Lobby Day as we challenge citizens to take a stand in our culture. You will leave Lobby Day encouraged and equipped to take action. No more sitting on the sidelines, we need you in the game!

We have several major issues pending including the threat to non-profit youth organizations.  SB 323 seeks to revoke the tax exempt status of groups like Boy Scouts, City on the Hill, and any non-profit youth organization that excludes homosexuals or transgendered person from membership or leadership. This bill is intended to be extremely punitive and clearly shows the intent of the adults that are pushing this movement forward - it is not about what's good for the kids.

There is another bill, AB 1266, that is furthering the laws already in place prohibiting discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.  This bill will "de-segregate" school sports and facilities, including bathrooms and locker rooms.  Boys will no longer have to bounce the basketball into the girls' restroom in order to feign a reason to enter - they will be entitled to enter that locker room or play on that team without question.

Our second Amendment right is under great attack by the Federal and State government. At Lobby Day we will update you on the proposed legislation. We will also discuss the new Common Core standards and how they will affect the public schools.

Gina Gleason, Director of  Faith and Public Policy, will join us to offer ideas and insight on starting a public policy ministry at your church. We know many of you would love to have this type of ministry at your church, but need help with getting started. Gina will equip you to confidently approach your Pastor with the idea.

Join us for this informative and encouraging day of action!
