SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!
Moving Back
DID YOU KNOW that Wednesdays have traditionally been days for devotion to St. Joseph? We just missed Wednesday for the week but I'm sure St. Joe would appreciate some love today, too! On that note, back by popular demand beginning in January, we will be moving our meeting day back to Wednesday. We initially only wanted to do the Sunday thing for Summer but didn't want to bombard you with another move. But just like when the Holy Family moved from Nazareth to Bethlehem to Egypt then back to Nazareth, St. Joseph will assist us in peacefully moving back to Wednesday. See you next Wednesday!

We'll also be going by a regular monthly schedule. That is, every month, you can expect the same activities happening on any given week. The month will look like this:
Week 1: Faith Topic
Week 2: Bible Study
Week 3: Adoration inside the Cathedral
Week 4: Fellowship
Week 5: Rosary in front of Planned Parenthood
This way, you will always know what kind of meeting we are having. See you at Bible Study!
Join us on the 3rd week of everything month for some quality time with our Lord.
Join us on the occasional 5th Wednesday for a rosary in front of Planned Parenthood. Young adults can be a very influential force in the world for good or for bad. Let's make big, good changes to this awful culture of death.
Thanks to everyone who came out to support me at the gala. Your presence that night was certainly one of the highlights of my 2017. You're all a blessing to me and I would not trade this job for any other. I am humbled, motivated, and inspired to level up in 2018! Thanks!

HELP WANTED
Have you ever thought about serving at our Sunday 5:15pm Young Adult Mass? If so, we would love to train you and get you on the schedule! There is a special need for Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers but could also use some altar servers, musicians, and ushers! You don't have to already know what you're doing --we'll train you! If you have a desire to serve God and represent young adults at the Mass, contact Val! Thank you for your prayerful consideration!
Volunteers are needed to help bring the Eucharist to the sick and homebound on Saturday mornings. You would not be going alone but with a group of two or more. We leave from the Cathedral right after the 9am Saturday Mass (~9:30). If you are interested and available even one or two Saturdays a month, come join us on a Saturday or contact Val-   val@sdcathedral.org  for more info.

What do YOU want to do?

On Thrusday, December 14th, the Young Adults had our second annual Ugly Sweater Gingerbread House Party! What a fun way to close out 2017!  Thanks to some great suggestions by the team and by you all, we had a great time! Maybe next month's fellowship will be an idea you come up with! If you have any ideas for other fun activities the group can do together, shoot us an email and we'll make it our next fellowship meeting! Send all suggestions to Dorinamae at Dorinamae@sdcathedral.org. Thanks!
