A Note from Eileen Greene
Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for your support and kind words concerning the departure of my beloved husband. Murray was a very special man, very brilliant in so many fields, and loved and respected by those who knew him. When we fought at City Hall to establish the Young Israel in a basement on Baraud Road, Murray helped to support it. He walked with the Torah Scroll to our new destination where we are today. When a new room was needed next to the Synagogue, he called our presidium at the time, Harold Aspis and Bill Schrag and told them that he would pay for the room, known today as the Greene Gallery.

I thank all of you for your caring and kindness.

Eileen S. Greene.
