Spartan Office

"Making New Year resolutions is one thing. Remaining resolute and seeing them through is quite another." - Alex Morritt

Welcome New Year!  2016 was a very good year for Spartan.  We successfully supported the subrogation initiatives of our client partners and were instrumental in helping them achieve (and surpass) their recovery goals.  Spartan is resolute in 2017 to continue aggressively pursuing recoveries and providing the best possible outcomes...making our clients shine!
For us, additional staff growth is planned for 2017 as well as relocating our office to larger quarters.  We thank you for your continued support, which makes our growth possible.

We hope your 2017 will be filled with subro recoveries!

Subro Awareness

This section of our newsletter is dedicated to sharing tips that can elevate awareness of subrogation  opportunities along with practices that can lead to higher recovery dollars.

Subrogation and Technology

Technology can greatly facilitate the identification of recovery opportunities with programming that captures critical elements of loss data which can produce a regressive analysis of subrogation cases likely to have recovery potential.  The utilization of technology can
dramatically lighten the arduous task of manually of reviewing every closed claim looking for a recovery opportunity.

To expedite the identification process and capture virtually every potential opportunity, Spartan management developed IDW, its Identification Workspace which we have programmed with both inclusion and exclusion rules predicated on line of business, loss type, , loss description as well as venue and negligence rules.  This programming enables us to take a large quantity of claims data and exclude those which have no recovery opportunity, allowing our team of investigators to focus on those cases with recovery potential.  Once the potential is confirmed, the claim facts are systemically populated in to SpartanRMS,™ our recovery platform and immediately assigned to a Recovery Specialist for subrogation pursuit. Spartan realized quite some time ago that it was imperative for a good end result to start by creating a subro environment of experienced dedicated staff, all having access to a secure and proven platform which captures and monitors Statutes of Limitation, Negligence Rules, Parties of Interest, Arbitration & Litigation Modules, Failsafe Diary, Expenses, Negotiations, Settlements and Recoveries. The SpartanConnection provides Spartan clients with interactive full transparency in real-time of the claims being worked on their behalf.  Access includes the ability to create customized reports for open inventory, recoveries and cases closed.  We strongly encourage our clients to take full advantage of this inter-active tool.

The combination of advanced technology and experienced talent can generate a seamless transition and an immediate impact on subrogation programs.  Spartan works diligently to make sure that no recovery dollar is left behind and is committed to being a valuable business partner who consistently provides outstanding results in assisting their clients achieve and exceed their recovery goals.
