Packet Pick-Up is this Week!
It is highly advised to go to Packet Pick-Up to get your bib (& shirt) and not wait until race day!! 
 
Packet Pick-Up is at both Fleet Feet Sports locations. When you registered for the race, you signed up for your packet pickup location. You need to go to the location that you chose, since your bib will only be at that location.

Packet Pick-Up/Registration Days & Times:
  • Thursday, December 14th 10am - 7pm
  • Friday, December 15th 10am - 7pm
  • Race Day (Saturday, Dec 16th) at Blue Cross Arena from 7:30 am - 8:15 am
 
We highly encourage you to attend Packet Pick-Up and not wait until race morning to get your bib. 
Fleet Feet Sports & YellowJacket Racing are hosting a toy drive to collect toys to be donated to the Salvation Army Holiday Assistance Program , which provides toys to families in need during the holiday season. Simply bring in a new, unwrapped toy with you to packet pickup (December 14th & 15th from 10am - 7pm). 

Any toy for any age is greatly appreciated (there is usually a greater need for toys for children in the age range of 10 - 15 years). If you donate 1 or more toys, you will receive a 15% discount off your purchase of non-sale apparel at Fleet Feet Sports during Packet Pickup hours!
Participant Information for Race Day!
5K Course Description
The Start is outside the Blue Cross Arena on Exchange Blvd. You will head south on Exchange until you reach the Ford Street Bridge. You will turn left and cross over the bridge. Once over the bridge you will turn right on to Wilson Blvd. Continue down Wilson until the turnaround, where you will then get on to the riverpath. You will head north on the river path to South Ave Continue on South Ave to Court St. Turn left on to Court St to Exchange Blvd. Turn right on to Exchange to the finish line

There will be a waterstop on Wilson Blvd before you get on the River Path.

Timing Details
We will be timing the race using the MyLaps BibTag System. Your timing chip is on the back of your bib. It is very important that the bib is worn on the front torso of each participant. If you lose, forget or misplace your bib on race day, there is a $5.00 replacement fee. No chip, no time.
 
Parking Information

Parking is also available on the large surface lot at Court Street & Exchange, but there is very limited parking in this lot.

  Bathrooms
There will be bathrooms inside the Blue Cross Arena. The bathrooms on the upper floors will only be available until the race starts (8:30 am). Do not leave any personal belongings on any of the upper floors while you race, since we will not have access to these floors once the race starts.

  Post Race Food 
After the race, join us inside the Blue Cross Arena for post race goodies.

Awards Ceremony
We will be presenting Overall & Age Group Awards for the 5K at the Awards Ceremony. The theme of the Reindeer Run Awards goes along with the theme of our Holiday Toy Drive for the Salvation Army. We have made awards to liken the "Island of the MisFit Toys". The Top 3 Men and Women and Top 3 in 5 Year Age Groups will get a very unique and specially "crafted" trophy with action figure tops. 
We will be doing the awards presentation at 9:45 am in the Blue Cross Arena lobby.
 
Kids Run Wild Races  
The Kids Race will begin at 9:15ish. There are three options (1/4 mile, 1/2 mile and 1 mile). The 1/2 mile and 1 mile will be timed (the 1/4 mile will not).
 
The Start Line for kid’s races is at Court & Exchange. There will be a Kids Run Wild wind flag at the Start. You should report to the west side of Exchange Street (opposite the corner of Court Street) by 9:05 am. The Kids Run Wild course stays on Exchange Blvd. Each race is an out & back. Kids can only run one race. They cannot do multiple races.
