The event will feature three local artists: Thea Aschkenase, holocaust survivor speaking about her memoirs; Kristen P. Williams, PhD, professor of Political Science at Clark University who will speak on Women and War: Gender Identity and Activism in Times of Conflict; and Kristin B. Maple Days

Celebrate the sweetness of spring along with Old Sturbridge Village, 1 Old Sturbridge Village Road, Sturbidge, as the museum hosts Maple Days weekends throughout the month of March. Enjoy a look at one of the earliest American rural traditions with costume historians demonstrating 'sugaring off' in OSV's own working sugar camp. The weekend of March 10th & 11th will also mark the return of Indian Doctress Molly Geet, portrayed by Native American expert Marge Bruchac of Abenaki Indian descent. In character she will share Native American maple sugaring stories and lead a Walk with the Indian Doctress around the village. Maple sugaring was a rich and essential part of American life in the 18th and 19th centuries and is part of the seasonal rhythm of early New England life portrayed at Old Sturbridge Village. It wasn't until the mid-1800s that deforestation of farmland throughout New England reduced large-scale sugaring operations. OSV is open daily 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Wednesday - Sunday. WOO Card holders can save $5 off adult daytime admission. Public WOO Card

The story of six friends from college who reunite because of the sudden death of a friend. Only three years out of school, the loss causes them to question their friendships, and whether it's possible to hold onto what they wanted when they were in school. At the pace things move in our world today - does what we do at 25 determine what we'll be the rest of our lives? Admission just $5.
