Partners for Peace

P.E.A.C.E value for APRIL 2018 is PEACE!
P.E.A.C.E value for MAY 2018 is HONESTY!
This is the final value for the 2017 - 2018 school year.
THANK YOU for making values a priority in your business this year!
HONESTY is choosing to be truthful in whatever you say and do.
Use these buttons to quickly access your monthly tools to support what our students in Brenham and Burton ISD are learning too!
This one should be easy to understand, but unfortunately, "truth" and "honesty" have become relative terms in recent times. This month is helping kids understand the importance of honesty in what they say as well as honesty in their actions. Using your words to give honest answers and truthful feedback are skills that will carry into the workplace. Honest actions show integrity and character in students and adults alike.
· People who acknowledge when they have made a mistake
· Those who don't take advantage of others
· Employees who don't gossip or speak negatively about others when they aren't there

Round Top Family Library

For Your Information...presents
Henry Flowers and The Language of Flowers
Since ancient times flowers, herbs and other plants have been used as a symbolic means to convey feelings and as a means of communication. The ancient Romans crowned great poets and successful warriors with bay laurel as a symbol of glory. Shakespeare's Ophelia reminds us that pansies are for thoughts and that rosemary is for remembrance. But it was the Victorians that brought this language to a greater height and turned the act of giving flowers into an art form. Through books and live floral examples you will learn how to convey your feelings with the language of flowers and won't have to utter a single word.
