Feb 15, 2018
March is a month for celebration of passed achievements, as nature still gathers strength before the Spring explosion of new life. You have just a few days left to tell us who should be the Orinda business person of the year (until Feb. 20): click HERE to nominate your favorite.

The Orinda Association and the Orinda Community Foundation have chosen the Orinda citizen of the year: Janet Riley, as well as James Wright as William Penn Mott, Jr. Environmental Award recipient and, Jim Luini and Carol Penskar as recipients of the Orinda volunteer award.  The dinner honoring them will be on March 11. Reservations at Orindaassociation.org.

Tuesday night at the Lafayette Library I found myself in a roomful of Lamorinda Entrepreneurs helping each other tackle challenges in managing their businesses. What they all had in common was a passion for helping - their customers, their families, their community, each other, and the environment. That passion is shared by the local Chambers of Commerce as we promote local businesses and encourage economic development across Lamorinda.
