With summer in full swing, it's a great time for outdoor Club Braman events - weather permitting, of course. The first of our new 'Screen on the Green' outdoor movie events downtown on the waterfront got rained out last month, but we're going to give it another go in July, along with a Club Braman 'Track Day' at Palm Beach International Raceway and a rock 'n roll evening at the Palm Beach Zoo with animals, food and a Rolling Stones tribute band.

Club Braman at the Palm Beach Zoo 'Roar & Pour' with 'Roll The Stones' Tribute Band
Saturday, July 2nd/ 4:30-9pm
'Roar & Pour' at the Palm Beach Zoo is a favorite of Club Braman members, and for good reason. Not only does the entire family get to spend a beautiful summer evening listening to live music and looking at all the fabulous animal exhibits, but Club Braman members also get a food and drink voucher that lets you chow down on themed cuisine and quench your thirst with soft drinks, cocktails and craft beer from a top local brewery.
July's event (since the Stones are a British band) features
Bangers & Mash
,
Shepard's Pie
(as well as the traditional all-American burgers and dogs), as well as a
Twisted Trunk Brewing
tap-takeover with Palm Beach Pilz and Irish Red on tap.
The evening's entertainment is provided by '
Roll The Stones
', a 9-piece ensemble comprised of top South Florida musicians putting on a high-energy, get-up-and-dance show full of the Rolling Stones' most popular songs. To see videos of the band in action, click

Roar & Pour action starts at 4:30 pm, with the Tiki Bar and Summer Grill opening at 5:00 pm for food and drink. Roll The Stones plays from 7:30 - 9:00 pm.

Club Braman will have a VIP check-in table at the main entrance of the zoo, where you will be issued a wristband and voucher valued at $10 for food and $6 for drink.
If you plan to partake of the beer, wine and cocktails, bring your photo ID - even if you are clearly over 21 as the zoo tends to make people feel and act a lot younger!

Club Braman at "Screen on the Green" on the Downtown Waterfront
Friday, July 8th/ 8-11pm
Drive-in theaters may be a thing of the past (mostly), but 'plop down on the grass and watch an outdoor movie while you picnic with your family friends' is still a great way to spend a summer evening. And thanks to Club Braman and the City of West Palm Beach, you'll be able to join the fun on the second Friday of July and August from 8-11pm.
It's called "Screen on the Green" and it takes place on the Great Lawn overlooking the waterfront right in the heart of downtown. Some of the films are old classics and some are newer, but all are family-friendly; on July 8th, bring your kids to see "
How to Train Your Dragon
"; and on August 12, prepare yourself for the pulse-pounding thrills of "
Jurassic World
."
Club Braman will have a VIP tent providing soft drinks and munchies, but be sure to bring your own lawn chair and cooler. And come early; you'll be parking in one of the city garages a block or two away.

Club Braman Performance Driving Program at Palm Beach International Raceway
Sunday, July 17th/ 6-10pm
Every brand and model you'll find at Braman Motorcars is capable of amazing performance and the Club Braman Performance Driving Program is designed to help you explore those abilities in an environment that's safe, fun and social.
Arrive at the Palm Beach International Raceway road course and you'll be greeted by racing drivers who are also knowledgeable instructors.
They'll give you the training you need to take your car out on track and let you start experiencing the joys of high-speed driving.
Drivers are divided into groups depending on your skill level and how fast you want to go, so there's no need to drive any faster than you want to. Just have fun and learn some skills that will help you out in daily driving. When you're done driving, gather in the air-conditioned VIP lounge to swap stories with your fellow drivers over a great meal.
Club Braman provides instructors, helmets and a gourmet buffet.

Braman Motorcars at Cars & Coffee Palm Beach
Sunday, July 10th/ 9am-Noon
If you're a car buff (or you have a budding young buff in the family) then the place you need to be this weekend is Cars & Coffee Palm Beach at the Palm Beach Outlets (1751 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd.).
This is a monthly gathering for literally hundreds of vehicles (four wheels and two), including exotics, classics, supercars, muscle cars, high-end sports cars, European luxury cars - and some vehicles that defy description (like the Hummer-looking thing that can actually drive underwater!).
The event is free, and there is no need to sign up - just show up and have a great time (yes, there's a Starbucks on-site, as well as a great place for smoothies). And if you'd like to be part of the action, the entry fee is just $2! Pay as you enter and you'll be directed to the area where vehicles like yours are on display. And be sure to stop by the Braman Motorcars display and see what sort of cool vehicles your favorite car dealer has on display.

Saturday, June 11th--Club Braman and 'Dancing With the Stars'
Everybody loves to watch 'Dancing With the Stars' on TV, but those Club Braman members who thought it would be fun to take the next step and actually meet some of the dancers - and maybe learn a few moves, had a splendid opportunity to do just that during the grand opening of the new Fred Astaire West Palm Beach dance studio (1900 Okeechobee Blvd, Suite A2).
They got to meet and mingle with Dancing with the Stars cast members Emma Slater and Sasha Farber (who also put on a fabulous performance), watch a fashion show, listen to music and meet reigning Ms. United States (and Braman Brand ambassador) Celine Pelofi. Wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres were served as members partied into the evening.

Saturday, June 18th--Club Braman at the Palm Beach Zoo Food Truck Safari
The Food Truck Safari at the Palm Beach Zoo is a favorite of Club Braman members, and for good reason. The event not only includes the opportunity to spend a beautiful spring afternoon and evening looking at all the fabulous animal exhibits (including the Braman Motorcars-sponsored tiger habitat).
Members also got a food and drink voucher that lets them chow down on cuisine from some of the best food trucks in Palm Beach County, including: Eats & Sweets, Hurricane Alley, World Fusion Cuisine, Melted Madness, and Loxahatchee Ice Cream Co and The Minivan Food Truck. Friday, June 24th--Club Braman at Braman MINI for the 'MINI Summer Giveaway Party'
It was a party at Braman MINI as dozens of Club Braman members mingled with a group of 15 lucky finalists who were on hand to draw for a 12-month lease on a new MINI convertible. Pretty much everyone was at the party, Steve Grossman being interviewed by WPTV, Celine Pelofi (resplendent in an 'emergency orange' jumpsuit) taking pictures with fans, Wilbur the 2-toed sloth (a star at the Palm Beach Zoo) alternating between naps and enchanting children and adults alike.
The MINI Café was serving ice-cold champagne instead of cappuccinos, the Hawaiian shaved ice cart out front was a favorite of the kids and the parents dined on juicy, just-grilled grilled burgers and hot dogs.
The lucky winner was Arlene Nugid who said, "I never won anything in my life and this is the cutest car ever. Everybody knows the name Braman and now Braman MINI is definitely my favorite dealership in the world."
Hungry families in Palm Beach County were also winners as this event was a continuation of the partnership between Braman MINI and the Feeding South Florida food bank. For everyone who has test driven a MINI since the program started in April, as well as everyone who entered the contest, Braman MINI and MINI USA have donated six meals; more than 20,000 meals have been provided by this program this far.
