Hard to believe its September already! But Club Braman is ready to roll into the fall with a lineup of events and venues that our members (that's you!) have told us you really like... and a couple of new ones as well. As usual, there's a mix of indoor and outdoor, as well as date-night and family-night events with 'appropriate attire' ranging from shorts and flip-flops to smart evening wear.
And we have such a jam-packed schedule of events that it spills over into October!
September starts off with the ultra-cool 'Cars and Coffee' outdoor car show at the Palm Beach Outlet Mall, followed by another great outdoor 'Screen on the Green' movie down on the waterfront. Up next is a "Taste of Palm Beach" event at the trendy Meat Market restaurant, followed by rock and roll bowling at Revolutions in the heart of CityPlace, and then by a great date night 'Art Deco' event at the Norton Museum.
That takes us to October, and the first week is already packed with events, including the 'Fiesta Cultural' food and music event at the Palm Beach Zoo and the high-speed thrills of Track Day at Palm Beach International Raceway

Cars & Coffee Palm Beach
Sunday, September 4 / 9am - Noon
If you're a car buff (or you have a budding young buff in the family) then the place you need to be this weekend is Cars & Coffee Palm Beach at the Palm Beach Outlets (1751 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd.). This is a monthly gathering for literally hundreds of vehicles (four wheels and two), including exotics, classics, supercars, muscle cars, high-end sports cars, European luxury cars - and some vehicles that just defy description.
The event is free, and there is no need to sign up - just show up and have a great time (yes, there's a Starbucks on-site, as well as a great place for smoothies). And if you'd like to be part of the action, the entry fee is just $2! Pay as you enter and you'll be directed to the area where vehicles like yours are on display. And be sure to stop by the Braman Motorcars display and check out what kind of great deals we're offering on our hottest new models.

Club Braman at "Screen on the Green" on the Downtown Waterfront.
Friday, September 9 / 8-11pm
Join us for Club Braman's fourth 'Screen on the Green' event on the downtown waterfront. Drive-in theaters may be a thing of the past (mostly), but 'plop down on the grass and watch an outdoor movie while you picnic with your family friends' is still a great way to spend a summer evening. And thanks to Club Braman and the City of West Palm Beach, you'll be able to join the fun on the second Friday of September from 8-11pm.
It's called "Screen on the Green" and it takes place on the Great Lawn overlooking the waterfront right in the heart of downtown. Some of the films are old classics and some are newer, but all are family-friendly; on Friday, September 9, load up the family and come enjoy the kid-friendly Walt Disney classic "
The Princess and the Frog
."
Club Braman will have a VIP tent providing soft drinks and munchies, but be sure to bring your own lawn chair and adult beverages. And come early; you'll be parking in one of the city garages a block or two away.

The event takes place from 6-8pm.

Club Braman at the Revolutions Rock 'n Bowl in CityPlace
Friday, September 16 / 7-9 pm
This is a favorite of our Club Braman members, so don't let anyone tell you bowling isn't cool!
Revolutions, located in the heart of CityPlace, is a 35,000 sq. ft. fun house featuring contemporary American cuisine, a high energy bar atmosphere, a Stadium Sports Amphitheater with the biggest TV screens you've ever seen, 20 boutique style bowling lanes and video arcade. Revolutions is a hot nightlife destination and Club Braman members are invited to join us on 7-9pm on Friday, September 16th for an evening of snacks, strikes and spares. Club Braman members get two hours of bowling (six people per lane), bowling shoes and vouchers for appetizers and drinks.

Club Braman at the Norton Museum Art After Dark "Art Deco in Palm Beach"
Thursday, September 22 / 5:30-9 pm
The Norton Museum 'Art After Dark' is one of the most popular Club Braman events and the September 22 event will focus on 'Art Deco in Palm Beach.'
There's a lot going on this evening, but, as always, Club Braman members will be provided with a voucher to enjoy the food and drinks. The Norton has changed its catering arrangements and the new provider is the highly-rated '
Potions in Motion
.'
The evening begins with Spotlight Talks (5:30pm and 5:45pm, outside the new front entrance) on the Norton's sculptures of
Diana and Actaeon
. From 6-8pm, you'll have the opportunity to participate in Sketchbook Thursday, learning to create the Art Deco Style characterized by rich colors, bold geometric shapes and lavish ornamentation. The program will be led by teaching artist
Sammi McLean
of the Davis Gallery.
At 6:30pm there will be a lecture: Art Deco of the Palm Beaches, presented by
Sharon Koskoff
, Founder of the
Art Deco Society of the Palm Beaches
. She will discuss the elements of the Art Deco style of architecture as represented in buildings around Palm Beach County. Following Ms. Koskoff's talk, guests are invited to tour the Norton Museum to view Art Deco elements of the 1941 building, both inside and out.
At 7:15pm there will be a tour focusing on the 'Architecture of the Norton Museum,' followed at 7:30pm by a live music concert presented by Avery Sommers and titled "I Love Being Here with You." Sommers is a Broadway veteran and cabaret singer and will be presenting a specially curated selection of songs that recall the era of the beginning of the blues.

for those of you who have been to a Club Braman event at the Norton before, please be aware that the museum is under construction (though you'll see no signs of it in the areas you'll be using that night. However, the old entrance you're used to is closed, and you'll need to park in the museum lot across on the other side of Old Dixie Highway and take the shuttle to the new entrance. Club Braman at the
High-Fashion "Luxe Show"
Thursday, September 29 / 6:30pm - 8pm
However much fun nights at the Palm Beach Zoo and the Screen on the Green movies on the waterfront are, it's nice to put on your party clothes once in a while and immerse yourself in some high-end luxury. Club Braman members will have that opportunity during 'The Luxe Show', September 29
th
at 6:30 pm in the Center Court, in front of Nieman-Marcus, at the Town Center Mall in Boca Raton.
This evening of elegance and fashion features luxury retailers in a high-fashion runway show, bookended by cocktail parties featuring passed hors d'oeurves and cocktails, as well as gifting suites and retailer vignettes (small areas that feature some luxury retailers for guests to see their looks up close). The post cocktail party after the fashion show will feature a desert bar, champagne and gifting suites.
Tickets for this exclusive event are limited, so be sure to sign up quickly! And make sure both you and your Braman Motorcar is washed, waxed and ready to make the scene.

CLUB BRAMAN EVENTS IN OCTOBER

Since the Club Braman events in September and October come so close together, here's a sample of what you'll experience during the first week.

Join Club Braman for South of the Border Food and Fun at the Palm Beach Zoo 'Fiesta Cultural'
Saturday, October 1 / 11:00 am - 9pm
The Palm Beach Zoo will be holding its second-ever 'Fiesta Cultural' on October 1. While details are still being worked out, this family-friendly event -- with separate day and evening hours -- will feature the sounds, food and animals of Central and South America. Club Braman members will check in at the special VIP table at the front entrance and will be given a voucher to sample both food and drinks at the event. There will be a DJ and kid-friendly activities (zookeeper talks, roving animal encounters, interactive events at the fountain, etc.) during the day. During the evening, there will be a live band, a cart featuring delicious '
arepas' and food trucks serving a variety of Latino foods.
We'll provide more details in the next newsletter, but Fiesta Cultural is sure to be tons of fun and events at the Palm Beach Zoo are always very popular, so be sure to sign up today!

Feed Your 'Need For Speed" Under The Lights During Club Braman Performance Driving Program at
Palm Beach International Raceway
Wednesday, October 5 / 6-10pm
Every brand and model you'll find at Braman Motorcars is capable of amazing performance and the Club Braman Performance Driving Program is designed to help you explore those abilities in an environment that's safe, fun and social. Arrive for this exciting 'under the lights' night event at the Palm Beach International Raceway road course and you'll be greeted by racing drivers who are also knowledgeable instructors.
They'll give you the training you need to take your car out on track and let you start experiencing the joys of high-speed driving. Drivers are divided into groups depending on your skill level and how fast you want to go, so there's no need to drive any faster than you want to.
Just have fun and learn some skills that will help you out in daily driving. When you're done driving, gather in the air-conditioned VIP lounge to swap stories with your fellow drivers. Club Braman provides instructors, helmets and a gourmet buffet.
