The Redemption of Scrooge: Books Available

Bethel Homeless Support Services will serve a Thanksgiving Dinner on
Tuesday, November 22. First Church is lending our support by supplying the desserts for the meal. If you can help with this effort please bring your homemade pie or other dessert to

Sunday, November 20 or Monday, November 21 (9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.).

As part of our Victorian-themed Luncheon and Parlor Concert on Sunday, December 11, we have the opportunity to buy tickets to see the Children
's Theater of Madison
's production of
"A Christmas Carol
" in a 2:30 p.m. matinee performance at the Overture Center that afternoon. Tickets cost $22 each and
must be reserved by Monday, November 28.

Help with the annual Hanging of the Greens as we decorate the church for Advent and Christmas. Come either day or both days -many hands will make the job merry and bright!

Circuit Conference Meeting
Tuesday, November 29, 6:30 p.m., Asbury UMC (6101 University Avenue)
Our District Superintendent, Scott Carlson, has changed the format of the annual church conference by combining the Madison Circuit of United Methodist churches
for a joint meeting. First Church members are invited to
attend.
The meeting will include doing the business of our
Church Conference including reports and items that need to be voted on.
