We celebrated good work, good people, and our entire nonprofit community at the 5th annual Celebration of Community on November 15 at NewBo City Market. Holiday DeLight Parade December 9
The 34th annual Holiday DeLight Parade transforms downtown Cedar Rapids on Saturday, December 9, at 5:30 p.m. If you would like to participate in the parade by preparing a float or walking unit, nonprofit cost is $35. Applications must be submitted by December 6. More information here.

Professional Development Opportunity for Iowa Arts & Cultural Leaders
The Iowa Arts Council, in collaboration with Arts Midwest, is offering leaders of Iowa arts, heritage, and cultural organizations the opportunity to participate in ArtsLab Iowa: Cultivating Cultural Leadership. This six-month strategy and leadership program is designed to ensure cultural leaders in Iowa have the skills, ideas, and mindsets of adaptability and resilience needed to thrive in a world of continuous change. Mount Mercy University Students Offer Marketing Plans

United Way Offers Holiday Volunteer Guide
United Way of East Central Iowa produced the Holiday Volunteer Guide to connect volunteers to organizations with the greatest need during the holiday season. Visit here to find out more information.

Kirkwood Offers Volunteer Management Certificate Program
Kirkwood Continuing Education will offer a Volunteer Management Certificate program beginning on January 17 at the Coralville United Way. The certificate focuses on the specialized skills needed for managing volunteers and includes six sessions. Cost is $599 for the overall certificate; individual classes are also available.
