New Online Bill Pay System Coming Soon

Starting February 16, our online bill payment system is being upgraded. The new IpayX system offers a more convenient online bill pay experience for our patients.

Those who are already enrolled in the old bill pay system will automatically be transferred to the upgraded version. Their usernames and passwords will remain the same.

This new system is extremely user friendly, but it does have a different look and feel from our previous version. Patients who have questions regarding this new system can call 863-680-7206 or visit our website for more details.

New Electronic Health Records System Implements Soon

Watson Clinic will soon introduce a new patient portal for electronic health records called MyChart at Watson Clinic LLP This new patient portal offers more features and faster access.

Training sessions will be made available soon. You can sign up on our Watson Clinic website for a class by visiting www.WatsonClinic.com/PatientPortal.

Humana & UnitedHealthcare Representatives Available for Questions

Are you eligible to enroll in a new health insurance policy, or do you have questions about your current plan? Representatives from Humana and UnitedHealthcare will be available to answer your questions between the hours of 9 am - 3 pm at Watson Clinic Main, South and Highlands locations throughout the month of February.

Humana representatives will be available in the lobbies of each of these locations every Monday and Thursday while United Healthcare will be on hand every Tuesday and Wednesday.

Watson Clinic Bartow Gynecology Open Select Saturdays

For our patient's convenience,  Nicole Rule, ARNP-C is providing care on select Saturdays at Watson Clinic Bartow Gynecology. Patients are encouraged to call in advance for Saturday appointment availability.  

This office is headed by board-certified obstetric-gynecologist Dr. Tarek Garas who is available on select days each week as he divides his time between this location and the Bella Vista Building.

Neurologist Publishes Study on Antibiotic Treatments for Lyme Disease

Watson Clinic neurologist  Jeffrey A. Rumbaugh, MD, PhD has co-authored a study which sheds light on the effectiveness of antibiotics in the treatment of neurological effects resulting from Lyme disease, an infection normally caused by tick bites.

Oncology Nursing Society Donates to Arts In Medicine Program

The Imperial Polk Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society, an organization devoted to excellence in nursing and the field of cancer care, recently awarded $1,000 to Watson Clinic Foundation's  Arts in Medicine (AIM) program. This donation will help fund additional supplies and resources for this special program and it's cancer patients.
