As part of an ongoing commitment to help strengthen the capacity of nonprofits, The Community Foundation is offering the following training opportunity:
Turning Your Donor Management Data
into Your Greatest Resource

Organizations launching a development program and those that would like to manage and use donor data more effectively will benefit from this session.

Wednesday, May 18, 2016
9:30 am - 12:00 pm
The Graustein Memorial Fund
2319 Whitney Avenue, Hamden
$10 per person

The session will start with a look at the elements that need to be in place before you are ready for a system - clean data, policies and procedures, and human resources. We'll explore the questions you must ask within your organization to help you determine what kind of system you are looking for, and we'll take a look at the attributes and challenges of popular, and unfamiliar, software packages.
This workshop is open to nonprofits providing services in the 20-town region of The Community Foundation  for  Greater New Haven, including the five towns served by its partner in philanthropy, the Valley Community Foundation.
