Each year, LATAN - Louisiana's premier organization providing access to assistive technology via its AT Demonstration Centers, AT Programs and AT Services - hosts its Annual Awards Event to honor individuals, businesses, agencies, media, and governmental organizations who have championed the benefits of AT so that individuals with disabilities may lead a higher quality of life and achieve greater independence.
