May 2018
Welcome to our May edition of Mission Insider. We are happy to report that our 14th Annual Bucky Trotter Humanitarian Awards Ceremony was a complete success with an attendance of more than 200 individuals representing the most influential and involved organizations in Prince George's County.  Our Chief Executive Officer promised to have a different event this year and she sure did!
Bolivian Dancers opened the ceremony and Mariachis entertained the audience during dinner to celebrate the proximity to 5 de Mayo. Our event showed our diversity and the commitment and vision of our new Board and CEO. We are happy to share with you the main highlights of the night in this edition of our newsletter.

We again congratulate our honorees Arthur J. Horne, Jr., Steny Hoyer, Derrick Leon Davis, Geoffrey Pohanka and Phillip Down for their outstanding work and service to create a better community.
Bolivian Dancers
Our CEO wanted to share part of her culture and invited Caporales Universitarios San Simon Filial Virginia to open our ceremony. The young dancers performed a beautiful choreography and were wearing beautiful hand embroidered costumes.
