2017 Unity In Communities Event Wins Award
|
The 2017 Unity in Communities – Passport to Service event is now an award-winning event! The City of Highland Village submitted the event and the corresponding print material to the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers (TAMIO) annual award program. Winners were announced at last week’s conference and Unity in Communities earned the TAMI (first place) in the Best Recurring Event category for populations under 100,000. The Lewisville High School Band needs your help! Last year 40% of band students were unable to pay the $350 in band fees. We hope you will consider helping these students by supporting this wonderful program! Consider sponsoring the band to give your business exposure in the community, or sponsor one or more individual students who are unable to pay his/her band feeds.
