The New FLSA Overtime Rule & What You Need To Know

Recently, the U.S. Labor Department announced the final overtime regulations concerning employees earning less than $47,476 per year. The new overtime rules take effect on December 1, 2016. 

The overtime rules have caused a lot of concern among organizations, especially nonprofits.   Many groups believe they have to make significant changes in their organizational structure when in fact that might not be necessary. Attorney Bob Zaruta will review the new rule and whether or not specific organizations are even covered.  He will also discuss specific strategies that nonprofits can employ to successfully navigate these uncharted waters.
