November Education Sessions
This month we held two educational events for our Members.
On November 9th, we held the
Annual Driver Safety Meeting
. We had over 50 drivers participate in the training. We would like to thank the good folks at the
Atlantic City Transportation Center
for hosting our meeting and also thank
Bob Crescenzo and Ron Fuller of Lancer Insurance
for presenting our drivers with great information and a live bus evacuation demonstration.
The drivers who attended were treated to lunch by the Association and received door prizes from our casino partners. A special thank you to
Resorts, Tropicana and Bally's/Caesar's/Harrah's
for their support & generosity!
On November 17th, we partnered with the
New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission
(NJMVC) to present a
CDL Train-the-Trainer
workshop. This training was geared toward instructors or training personnel employed by our Members and had a limited number of seats. We filled them all, and then some! A special thanks to the NJMVC for providing the training and also Association Member,
Greyhound Lines
, for hosting the event at their Pleasantville location.
