Celebrating Native American Heritage Month
Honoring our Veterans
Honored by the
Native American community for his extensive and sensitive
collection of work capturing Powwow dancers and Native American
lifestyle, traditions, and culture, {>}Ken Lubas
has been given the name "True
Eyes." A member of the OutWest family of artists, Mr. Lubas was one
of our first Featured Artists and returns in November with new
work.
Join us at 5:00 p.m., during {>}First Thursday Art Walk,
for a Native Blessing Ceremony led by Ken's spiritual advisor, Ted
Garcia.
Native American artist Lisa Chavez-Thomas joins us for one night
before she appears at The Autry National Center, Fri-Sat Nov. 5-7,
American Indian Arts Marketplace. Ken Lubas' Art
OutWest Exhibition continues through Monday, November
