Content Marketing: How Big is your Audience?

You've spent hours crafting your latest blog, Facebook post or Twitter campaign, but find yourself continually disappointed by the small number of people who seem to be reading and engaging with it. But how do you work out how many people are actually reading what you post? Are your content marketing efforts bringing returns?

The chances are, your audience is bigger than you think. A research project carried out by Facebook and Stanford University showed a large discrepancy between perceived audiences and actual audience size. It found that actual audience sizes tend to be four times greater per post than presumed. The reason for the discrepancy? Around 23% of people simply guess audience size, while 21% base their assumptions on the number of likes and comments they get for each post.

The Rugby Business Network Gloucester Talks World Cups

We organise our local Rugby Business Network events in Gloucester, Cheltenham and Bristol.  These are great business networking events for people in business who have an interest (or in our case a passion) for rugby at all levels of the game; from mini and youth club level to premiership and international teams.
This is the round up of last week's event where we had Amber Reed, World Cup winning England & Bristol Ladies player and Stephen Vaughan, CEO of Gloucester Rugby speaking.

There was a warm welcome for the Rugby Business Network yesterday at Kingsholm, the home of Gloucester Rugby. Businesses came together to network and talk about rugby and business in a no fuss, no pressure environment, as well as hearing from our 2 great speakers. There were many topics on the menu, but at the top of the list was both world cups.

First up was Amber Reed, England International, Bristol Ladies player and member of this year's world cup winning squad.
