Lou DeCesare has delivered commercial banking services at community banks throughout the greater Philadelphia region for more than 30 years. In his long executive career, Lou has led relationship management teams that have supported new and existing business owners and consumers in the community through delivering personalized financing, and deposit and cash management services. Lou draws upon his extensive banking experience to be creative in customizing bank products and services to meet the individual needs of the consumers and businesses in the community. 

Lou says, “I believe community banks are one of the key cornerstones to the success of our communities. Community banks are more knowledgeable about the needs of the consumers and businesses that make up our communities and are therefore more helpful in making these communities thrive. Hyperion Bank is located in a building that began as a bank serving the River Wards in 1871. Lou joined Hyperion Bank in 2013, gladly returning to his roots in the neighborhood, as he was born just up the street from the Bank at St. Joseph's Hospital on Girard Avenue. Raised in Northeast Philadelphia and Lower Moreland, Lou stayed local to earn both his undergraduate degree in business administration and his MBA from LaSalle University. Lou and his wife have raised two sons in Doylestown, PA, where together they are active in community organizations.

Fun Fact: Lou was an AAU basketball coach for many years, traveling the East Coast with his two sons' basketball teams. True to his Philadelphia roots, he cheers for the Eagles, Phillies, Sixers and Flyers. Want to talk sports (or banking) with Lou? Email Lou.

Sedo and Virginia Sanchez, were visiting Puerto Rico when Hurricane Maria battered the island as a Category 5 storm. Compounding the damage already caused by Hurricane Irma, Maria's 160 mph winds destroyed much of the island's infra-structure. Sedo says, "Whatever you've seen on TV, it's actually 10 times worse." Like the Sanchez family, many in our community have relatives and friends living in Puerto Rico, and they need help.
