Using small-group discussions and case analyses,
Osteoporosis and Fracture Prevention
addresses osteoporosis-related fractures, secondary causes, care gaps and other current issues, and examines pharmacological treatment options, opportunities for non-pharmacological treatment, and drug holidays.
This Group Learning program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada for up to 7.0 Mainpro+ credits.
This program has receive funding from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care as part of the Ontario Osteoporosis Strategy. The next session will be held in Hamilton on May 23.
