Farewell to Summer Festival Thanks You!

Emmaus Main Street Partners held our 7th annual Farewell to Summer Festival presented by Gross McGinley, LLP on Sunday, September. 9th and it was a TROLL lot of fun!  The streets of Emmaus were filled with families visiting downtown businesses on the Troll Trail Hunt and Triangle Park was packed with festival goers enjoying a TON of activities throughout the day along with live music, a variety of vendors, and local food. It's Fall Invader Season
Cooler weather is coming. Stink Bugs, Lady Bugs, Boxelder Bugs. This is the time of year these insects are drawn to your home to find a place to hide during the cooler nights. Spiders are drawn to the same areas to catch these other insects. Tired of walking through spider webs every morning? Stink bugs popping up on the windows, door or exterior? We can help.  EnviroTech Pest Services can provide a safe and effective exterior application to drastically reduce the number of these insects and spiders that could populate your home or business.
Ticks have been very bad this year. Concerned with Lyme disease? And exterior application done this fall can help protect your family and pets from ticks.

"Impact of Immigration on the Lehigh Valley"

Kathryn Albarelli, Esq., a local immigration attorney, recently spoke to members of the League of Women Voters of Lehigh County and the public about the challenges of immigrants and "Dreamers" participating in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program under new directives established by the Trump Administration.

Albarelli gave specific examples of the processes and fears these individuals must constantly contend with.  An additional speaker, a Dreamer, said that even though they work and pay taxes, Dreamers do not receive any governmental benefits, healthcare or social security. Dreamers must wait to become naturalized citizens until Congress writes legislation.
