Latest news!

NNNTRC would like to thank everyone who came to the Derby Party. Hope everyone had a wonderful time!
Congratulations Kim!

We're so proud of NNNTRC's Operations Manager, Kim Reynolds! Kim has achieved Advanced Instructor status through PATH, Intl. (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship). Kim traveled to NC on May 19th for rigorous testing. The PATH Intl. Advanced Instructor must exceed all the competency expectations of the Registered Level Instructor including equine management, horsemanship, riding, instruction and knowledge of disabilities. She is expected to apply this knowledge through effective analysis and problem solving in response to the given situation, while providing a safe and effective demonstration of all PATH Intl. Advanced Criteria.

Volunteer Corner

The Power of One

With funding from the E.L.Trees Charitable Trust, NNNTRC volunteer and retired engineer, Jim Cox, has designed and is building a new ADA accessible tack room and feed room. Jim arrives at 7:30 a.m. and works nonstop until he states,"This is good place to stop today." This is what Jim has achieved in just seven days...by himself! His work is amazing, and we are so grateful. Jim's expertise and volunteer labor is saving thousands of dollars. We can't thank him enough!

Annual Horse Show

Saturday, August 26, 2017

Nickers 'N Neighs hosts a horse show for its students every year. For this show, students ride their horses to a song of their choosing, while applying the equitation skills they have developed over the past year. Our horse show is one of the best opportunities to see our students in action. This event is open to the public... Please join us! There will be food and fun for the whole family.  Please support our students with an ad in the show program or by helping to sponsor the show. Contact Karen McCalpin for details.
