THE ARMED CITIZEN:
In time of violence, when the target of crime is armed, there is more law present, more public policy present, and more public interest
served than by all the gun laws in force, which are
utterly absent from that scene at the moment they are needed most.

John Longenecker Safer Streets Day of Rage?? ________________________________________________________
So, September 17th is going to be a Day of Rage.
Rage is a funny thing. It doesn't come out of nowhere. As it is believed to be an extension of older anger, tens of millions sense this correctly as they ask, "What do these people have to be angry about??"
Exactly.
I don't know if this Day of Rage is going to amount to anything, but the question stands: what are these people so angry about, and why can they not work something out through due process?
Gun owners have a great deal to complain about, what with 20,000 gun laws against them on the books, laws which never touch crime, but criminalize honest citizens. Yet, 90-million gun owners are the most patient and law-observant of those who have every right to be angry.
Rage is acting out in anger, with an energy and motivation that is irrational. Society does not accept rage as a rational protest.
Still, millions would like to know what the rage is all about. Millions may learn that it has nothing to do with us. Like most anger which become rage, it goes back a lot further.
Like most liberals, they often say things they never intended to reveal; this time, it seems that the rage can be controlled if it is scheduled in advance. _________________________________________________

David Codrea Second Amendment Angry citizens arm in defiance of order: No one killed!

Armed citizens, upset by a government disarmament edict, confronted the Ruidoso, New Mexico city council Tuesday night in defiance of an executive order from the mayor banning guns on city property, KRQE reports. Yet despite what anchor Dick Knipfing describes as "powerful emotions," dozens of armed citizens conducted themselves peaceably, controlling themselves and their anger against what activist and New Mexico Militia leader Bob Wright called the act of a "tyrant."More . . . _________________________________________________

Dennis Prager Integrity Lessons from 9/11? What lessons?
In attempting to understand 9/11, the first question asked by the world's elites - as exemplified by leading media and academics - was, "What did America do to provoke such hatred?"
[ . . .] As long as people keep asking what America did to incite such hate, nothing will have been learned from 9/11. More . . . _________________________________________________ |

[ . . .] Are Thorium reactors something new? We ran a Thorium reactor in the 1960s, but then we stopped.

The Heritage Foundation Integrity Solyndra scandal ends green jobs myth.
President Barack Obama's solution for America's unemployment woes has been a stubborn campaign to spend hundreds of billions of dollars on economic "stimulus"-much of it on so-called "green jobs." Report after report has shown the approach to be a total failure. And now, a new scandal involving Solyndra, a bankrupt solar panel company in California, should be the final nail in the coffin for the government's meddling in the free market.

Tenth Amendment Center Integrity Constitution Day is this Saturday.
The Constitution was signed on September 17, 1787, and every year that date passes by with hardly a sound.
[ . . .] The founding generation spent their lives toiling under a tyranny - a government without limits. But, when the Constitution was written, it was done to codify in law that the powers of government would be limited to those which had been delegated to it. The entire system was created under the principle of popular sovereignty - that 'We the People of the Several States' created the government, and all powers not delegated to it, were retained.
