Dear Friends and Colleagues:

I hope you enjoyed your Labor Day holiday. This month brings some very exciting news and events to our Association of Fundraising Professionals-Eastern Oklahoma chapter.

On September 14th, we will be celebrating a milestone for our AFP
Chapter. In 1982, our chapter officially came together as a group of nonprofit professionals to be the standard-bearer for professionalism in fundraising. On Thursday, September 14th we will be celebrating our chapter's 35th Anniversary. In honor of this milestone, we will be hosting several of our past presidents in a panel discussion. Panelists include; Nancy Atwater, fundraising consultant; Larry Bartley retired from the Tulsa Library Trust; Charlene Fabian, Vice President of Development at Oklahoma Methodist Manor; Lori Long, CFRE, Executive Director of The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges; Stephen Mason Associate Vice President of Corporate, Foundation, and Tulsa Relations, at Oklahoma State University Foundation; and Tish Stuart co-owner of My Choice In-home Senior Services. Please join me and our AFP Board at this month's luncheon featuring these experts from our chapter.
They will be sharing their fundraising insights, wisdom, and lessons learned. You will have an opportunity to ask your burning questions about our profession from our area professionals.
