Building School-Family Relationships

Thank you to everyone that signed up the first week of school to participate on our  committees.  We realize that having an active parent organization helps give us the ability to manage the variety of moving parts throughout the year.  Each family makes a difference and we value the time you give.  It's not too late to participate if you didn't sign up!  Swing by the preschool office to find out how you can get involved. All parents are strongly encouraged to participate and be part of their child's preschool experience.  T hank you in advance for your support!

As a not-for-profit organization, we offer several simple ways you can help us raise funds for the preschool and the families we serve.  Click the link below for more information. Many of these earn money for the preschool while you shop!  It couldn't get any easier than!

Meet Miss Susanne

Susanne
Has your child come home and shared with you all the interesting things they've built or repaired with Miss Susanne? She's a favorite teacher of many of the children, not to mention staff! Miss Susanne, our Project Coordinator, has been teaching at PPP for the past 15 years and wears several hats.  From repairing the water pump in the sandbox to subbing at last minute in the classrooms, she is irreplaceable and an asset to our school.  Next time you see her on campus, be sure to say "Hello!".

Meet Harry Houdini

Houdini1
Have you stopped by to meet our Desert Tortoise, Harry Houdini?  We adopted him from Arizona Fish & Game and he's approximately 16 years old.  His favorite foods are dandelion leaves (which can be purchased at Fry's) and hibiscus flowers.  If you'd like to bring him either of these, please take them to Miss Melanie in the Atelier or to the preschool office so we can monitor his daily nutrition.  We're excited for the children to learn all about Harry and his desert lifestyle.  He's quite the magical escape artist, hence his name!

Family Fun Night with The Singing Cowboy
Family Fun Night & Silent Auction

Save the date!!  Our Annual Family Fun Night will be held on Thursday, October 25th from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm.  Each classroom will be open to visit, desserts and lemonade in the Atelier, entertainment featured by Arizona's only Singing Cowboy and over 100 items to bid on during the Silent Auction.  This is our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year and the money raised goes towards the preschool's scholarship program and continuing education for staff.
