Your generosity helps enable us to protect your right to access the foods of your choice from the source of your choice. Thanks to your support, we continue to make a difference in protecting this right.

Just since the launch of our Annual Fundraiser in May, we have contributed to the following successes in preserving and expanding your freedom of food choice:
  • Passage of food sovereignty legislation in Maine, establishing local control over food regulation. Twenty Maine towns have already adopted food sovereignty ordinances allowing for unregulated farmer-to-consumer direct commerce. The new law should increase that number substantially. FTCLDF provided funding for the lobbying effort on the food sovereignty bill.
  • Legal representation for a member's court victory that protected raw milk access for Texas consumers.
  • Passage of Tennessee legislation improving consumer access to locally produced meat and meat products and the ability of livestock farmers to make a living.
  • Passage of Tennessee legislation that established the right of buyers clubs to distribute food to their members without having to obtain a permit from the government.
On July 4, FTCLDF celebrates its 10th anniversary of protecting consumer freedom of choice and advancing small farm prosperity

Help us make an even bigger impact over the next decade and   Donate Today . When you donate $100, $150, or more now during our Annual Fundraiser, you'll even get one of these inspiring gifts  now through Friday, June 30.
